Refund & Cancellation

Shipmozo Cancellation and Refund Policy

  1. All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to Shipmozo at info@shipmozo.com and received by us within same day from the date the service was purchased. Refunds can take up to 10-15 working days to be processed and you will be notified through email once the amount is transferred. All refunds shall be made either through bank transfers or cheque. Payments made by credit/ debit card/ wallet shall be credited back to the respective card/ wallet account. You need to mention the Shipmozo reference number with the refund/ cancellation request, failure to render the requisite information alongwith your Cancellation/ refund request shall render the cancellation/ refund request as futile.
  2. Please note that refunds cannot be processed for any consequential loss.
  3. If you wish to cancel to your order, kindly contact us on the same day of collection date (before receiving shipping label) we will deduct ___% of amount as handling charges. If your shipping order label has been sent to your mail than order cannot be cancelled and not be refunded.
  4. If any shipment returned due to lack of proper packaging, wrong information rendered by You/ Customer or wrong weight entered by Customer/ You, Shipmozo shall not be held responsible for return of the package and shall not be liable to refund the amount to You.
  5. You shall liable of any extra Tax imposed by the Government, document as per each states government requirements, if shipment returns due to non- payment of Taxes, cess etc. or less/ improper documentation Shipmozo shall not be liable for any refund or loss of package.
  6. Any service that is cancelled after an attempt has been made by the courier to collect at the address, may be subject to a wasted journey charge of 100 or 25% of the order value whichever is lower will be deducted from the total refund due amount.
  7. If due to any reason, a pickup attempt fails, such order shall be treated as an cancelled order unless You request a re-pickup within 24 hours of the first failed attempt. In case of such cancelled orders Shipmozo shall not be liable to make any refund to You/ Customer. All AWB/LABEL will expired after 3 days of generation if pickup not done, in this case no Refund will be made at any circumstances.
  8. We shall not, in any circumstances, be liable to you for any refunds where our Terms and Conditions have not been fully complied with including any items sent on the Prohibited list.
  9. We will not be held responsible for wrong information that is entered on a booking. We shall not be liable for any costs or losses that you may suffer that arising directly or indirectly from our failure or delay to perform any of our obligations due to this.
  10. We shall not in any circumstances be liable for any late delivery or missed delivery or failure to deliver caused by or contributed to by any deficient or ambiguous labelling of a Consignment and you agree to be responsible for ensuring that such labelling is clear and unambiguous.

Other Provisions

  1. We shall not, in any circumstances, be liable to you for any damage caused arising directly or indirectly as a result of any of the Risks as below.
  2. Due to acts of God, force majeure occurrence of any cause reasonably beyond the control of us, or loss and damage caused through strikes, riots, political and other disturbances such as fire, accident of the vehicle carrying the goods, explosions, beyond the control for the goods that are carried by us
  3. Caused by:
  4. The act, fault or omission /commission of any act of the Shipper/ the consignee or any other party claiming an interest in the shipment (including violation of any terms or conditions thereof) or any other person.
  5. Carriers such as Airlines, or Airways not adhering to schedule for any reason whatsoever.
  6. Government officials in discharge of their official duties such as Customs/ Taxation/ other inspection etc.
  7. Electrical or magnetic injury, erasure or other such damages to Photographic images or recording in any form.
  8. Not with standing what is stated above, whilst we will endeavor to exercise its best efforts to provide expeditious delivery in accordance with its regular delivery, we will not under any circumstances be liable for delay in pick up, transportation or delivery of any shipment regardless of cause of such delays.
